A swinging, zinging lime fizz of an “A Line” crochet mini dress, plus cute hat.
Bust 32 and 34 inches.
Worked top down (shoulder to hem) it’s easy to alter the length; given as a scant 31.5 inches from back neck to luscious, fan patterned, scalloped hemline.
It would look great too with a belt; or over jeans or leggings.
There is just one set of instructions; size is altered by changing hook size from UK8 to 7, [USG6 to 7] [M4 to 4.5] so there is scope for alteration. The dress is worked in DK [worsted] “Bri Nylon”- as photo, which is now neither fashionable nor (frankly) desirable; you might prefer something a little more organic! I’ve used this for amigurumi and granny squares, but although if feels soft in a ball, it is a little weird and synthetic when worked up.
The hat would work well for summer in cotton or in wool for cooler weather. Check out the fifth picture for a freebie pattern for a rosette.
